A giant brass safety pin holds a quiet collection: small two centimetre circles cut from mussel shells, fish otoliths, porcelain, brass, acrylic, and pearls with a determined sheen.

It isn’t a story, it’s a study, a gesture. A celebration of form and material, each element chosen for its texture, its memory, its resistance. Brass for its warmth and strength. Shells and otoliths for their organic mystery. Porcelain for its fragility. Acrylic for its clarity. Pearls for their defiance of time.

Hung together, they hover and clink, shifting slightly with every movement.

A simple act of gathering. A gesture of curiosity.
Pinned fragments, held for a moment in balance.
